❤ Ten Years On: Honouring Phil’s Legacy and over £70,000 raised ❤
Today marks the 10th anniversary of losing my father, Phil. Though the pain of his absence remains, his legacy shines brightly through the work of The Philip Maher Foundation.
In the decade since his passing, the Foundation – born from love, loss, and a desire to make a difference and create a lasting legacy – has achieved something truly extraordinary.
Together, we have raised over £70,000 to provide community public access automated external defibrillators (AEDs) across Lancashire, enhancing emergency response capabilities and saving lives.
Phil’s life was filled with kindness, generosity, humour and a a true sense of community. It’s wonderful for our family to see those same values reflected in the impact of the Foundation. I know he would be incredibly proud.
As we reflect on the past decade and the incredible achiebvement of providing and continuing to support 35 defibrillators in our communities, we would like to take the opportunity to pay tribute to everyone who has donated, supported, or shared in our journey so far. Your generosity has helped transform grief into hope and created a legacy Phil would be proud of.
As we look to the future, we remain inspired by Phil’s memory to continue this work and support even more communities with life-saving medical equipment.
But for today, here’s to celebrating Phil – a life well-lived – and his incredible legacy.
with my grateful thanks to you all, as always.
Stuart ❤
